She's getting quicker to keep up with the big dogs but still gives her worried puppy yips when she's falling behind and can't quite keep up! :)
This 27 pound girl loves affection and attention! She can be a lap dog and would be good with dogs, cats and children that aren't toddler age. She's adventurous, curious and full of life! Her temperament is that of a hound but she is definitely a mix. She appears to have "hare feet". Some dog breeds have longer middle toes, a foot shape called "hare feet" and these include: ** Greyhound, Samoyed, Whippet, Bedlington terrier,, Skye terrier and Borzoi.

Blue Ridge Animal Rescue staff has decades of experience in the animal and medical industry and is adamant about matching the adoptable animal with the appropriate family environment. Each animal is reviewed individually for their specific needs and matched accordingly. We are a newly founded rescue and in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) standing. We are excited to start this process and already have animals in the program in search of committed, loving homes!
