Macey is a 9 year of age, Labrador Retriever mix that is looking for her soft landing! Her original owner passed away earlier this year, then the family that was taking care of her had a house fire and couldn't take all the dogs with them to their new location. Macey was a faithful companion that grieved the loss of her original owner. She is kind and affectionate and likes to go for walks. She walks decently on a leash and would benefit from regular exercise. This girl came to us overweight but she changed to a better diet and looks great! Macey is house and potty trained and doesn't ask for much: healthy food, a short walk and loving attention! She is fully vetted, her bloodwork is good and she is ready to walk right into your heart! Blue Ridge Animal Rescue staff has decades of experience in the animal and medical industry and is adamant about matching the adoptable animal with the appropriate family environment. Each animal is reviewed individually for their specific needs and matched accordingly. We are a newly founded rescue and in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) standing. We are excited to start this process and already have animals in the program in search of committed, loving homes!
