Meet Doug, a sweet and playful 2-year-old English Bulldog who's ready to fill your home with love and laughter! Weighing 59 pounds, Doug loves to play tug with a rope and enjoys spending time with other dogs and kids. He's also a huge fan of snuggling and will happily sit in your lap for some quality cuddle time. While Doug is an affectionate and friendly companion, he does need to see the vet to take care of his eyes, and we're keeping a close eye on his health. Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
