Oreo is a 2 yo male English Bulldog who is as sweet as his namesake! He is 50 pounds of Oreo McFlurry energy. He wants to be your shadow and would be thrilled to never leave your side. While his absolute favorite thing is attention, he is slowly learning to accept some time alone. He is a fabulous leash walker and isn't fazed by neighborhood dogs. He is curious about his foster family's cats and treats the kiddos like he does any human. Oreo is looking for a family who can continue his training to be the best dog he can be. His foster family is working on basic skills training, including not using barking as an attention seeking device. He is treat motivated! He continues to improve with crate time and is mostly house-trained with infrequent accidents. He does have an obsession with water and does better given small amounts of water at a time. Oreo would love to be part of your cookie collection!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
