Meet Pearl!

Pearl is an 6 year old poodle mix who was pulled as part of “Angel Retreat’s ACCT’s of love” program. She was at risk of euthanasia due to her unknown health condition, as well as lack of space and resources at the other shelter.

Pearl originally came in as an owner surrender. She was given up due to her declining health condition, as stated by her previous owners as blood in her urine. The part of her story where she is left at a kill shelter by the only family she has known breaks our heart, however we don’t know the circumstances and will do our best to not pass judgement. We do know however that Pearl is a very sweet girl that deserves a happy ending, and we’re honored to step in and give her that ❣️

She is receiving the medical treatment that she needs, and is ready for the search to find a true forever home! It breaks our heart to see a senior dogs end up in the shelter system, but we know that the special kind of people that adopt older dogs give them a life and love that they have never known and have always deserved ❣️
