Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
RAWRRR! I’m Animal, a 6-month-old mixed breed puppy with all the energy, wildness, and fun you could ever need! I come from the rugged, chilly mountain tops of West Virginia, and now I’m ready to bring my rock ‘n’ roll spirit and loveable chaos to your home!
Just like my Muppet namesake, I’m all about living life at full volume. I’m a big ball of energy and excitement, and I’ll be your ultimate companion for every adventure. Whether it's running, playing, or rocking out with a chew toy, I’m always ready to get the party started. But don’t let my wild side fool you—I’ve got a heart of gold and will love you unconditionally (once I’ve worn myself out!).
Here’s what you can expect when you adopt me, Animal:
Non-stop energy: I’m full of it—running, jumping, and playing are my favorite pastimes. If you’re looking for a pup who can keep up with your active lifestyle (and maybe even outdo you!), then look no further!
Loud and proud: I might not be able to drum, but I sure know how to make noise! Get ready for some RAWRRR moments, loud bark greetings, and lots of excitement—because I’m here to make sure every day is full of life!
A heart of rock 'n' roll: Despite all my energy, I’m a total cuddle monster once I calm down. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or sharing quiet time after a fun-filled day, I’ll always show you my affectionate side.
A wild soul with a big heart: I’m as unique as they come—always up for fun, love, and making memories with my humans. My loyalty is as big as my personality, and I’ll always have your back (unless there’s a squirrel... then I’ll chase it!).
Ideal Home:
A family that’s active, loves to laugh, and is ready for a bit of wild fun every day.
Someone who has patience, humor, and the energy to match mine—after all, I’ve got a lot to give!
A home that appreciates a pup with personality and is ready to embrace the chaos that comes with it (don’t worry, I’ll balance it out with cuddles!).
Other pets? Sure! I’m open to new friends, as long as they can handle my exuberant energy.
If you’re ready to add some rock ‘n’ roll and RAWRRR into your life, then Animal is the puppy for you! We’ll have tons of fun, make memories, and maybe even form a band (you bring the instruments, I’ll bring the wildness). Adopt me today, and let’s make some noise together!

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.
Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).
Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.
Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
