Ladle wants to know if stealing hearts is a crime. If so, he is SOOOOO guilty! This boy will just melt in your arms. He craves attention and loves to be right with you. If his floppy ears and puppy dog eyes weren't enough to get you, just know that this fella will love you endlessly.

Ladle is a 3-month-old mixed breed that will likely be medium sized when fully grown. He'd be well-suited for a home with kids, dogs, and even cats. Like all pups, he will require some training, though we know he has the potential to make someone a fantastic companion.

Please note that this is a mixed breed puppy. There is no guarantee on breed or adult size. This puppy is in a foster home.

Adoption applications are required and are available on our website. We do require references and interview potential adopters. All animals will be current on the vaccinations, microchipped and be either spayed or neutered before the adoption is finalized.
Our dog adoption fees range from $150.00 to $275.00 depending on the age of the dog. Cat adoption fees are $50.00.

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
