My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All AHHS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

This is Tornado; a 10 month old spaniel mix.  He's a whirlwind of joy and happiness. He exudes positivity and puts a smile on all our faces. He's outgoing and befriends humans, canines, and cats! Tornado is very playful and energetic; he would be ideal for an active family. His favorite way to release some energy is with his famous zoomies which are both adorable and hilarious. He is also a big fan of squeaky toys. With Tornado being so young a full of life, he is sure to make someone(s) very happy for years to come!

If interested in Tornado, apply online at ahhumanesociety.org or email Halee@ahhumanesociety.org with any questions.

More about this rescue

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
