My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

XXena is looking for a loving foster home to help her recover while she is receiving medical treatment.

Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) & Potential Ringworm

Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks
(The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.)

Foster Care Plan: Xena is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since she may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping her in a separate, dedicated space, such as a spare bathroom or bedroom, until she fully recovers.
Xena has also been seen for a patch of hair loss on her nose. A sample has been sent to the lab, and we are waiting on the results to determine if she will need to begin treatment for ringworm.
She will go to her foster home with medication, and once her treatment is complete, she’ll be ready for surgery/adoption.

Foster to Adopt: Xena is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
