Meet Tay-Tay! This 2-year-old, 42.7-pound Lab mix is as sweet as she is independent. She loves running around outside, exploring new smells, and enjoying her freedom. Tay-Tay has shown interest in playing with a few of the other dogs here, though she’s a bit particular about her friends. While she’s not super into cuddles or pets just yet, she does like to check in from time to time to see what’s up—especially if you have treats!
One thing that makes Tay-Tay unique is her adorable “tippy tap” toes! It might just be a cute quirk, but we believe she could have some hip discomfort, possibly from an old injury or something more recent. Despite this, Tay-Tay stays active, playful, and happy, showing no signs of slowing down. Her new family will need to monitor her hips to ensure she stays comfortable.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
