Hello everyone, meet Cody! This goofy boy is looking for his perfect retirement home! One look at the mischievous sparkle in Cody's eyes will tell you this boy doesn't let his age or only having 3 legs slow him down (too much!) He loves to get out on walks and explore his surroundings, although occasionally he will lose his balance a little. His favorite thing to do though, is to spend time with his people! When he wants some attention, he isn't shy about asking for it. Cody has lived with other dogs before, but if you have one at home he'd love to do a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone can get along before adoption.

When Cody first arrived at the Adoption Center, he had a mass on his ear that our vets recommended removing. Due to its location, and the healing process he now has a cute permanent ear flip! He doesn't mind it one bit, just another little tidbit to make our boy more unique! Could Cody be a perfect addition to your family? The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
