Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I`m DAVE! I`m a friendly and lovable pup who is looking for my forever home. My story is like something straight out of a book - I was rescued as a stray and brought to the shelter, where the staff immediately fell in love with my charming personality. I absolutely adore attention and cuddles, and I`ll gladly sit in your lap for hours on end, soaking up all the love and affection you have to give. Whether we`re curled up reading a good book or going for a leisurely stroll, I`m always down for quality time with my favorite people. If you`re looking for a loyal and loving companion to join you on all of life`s adventures, then I`m your guy! I can`t wait to find my happily ever after with you. I am full grown at ~47lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from another rescue when I came in as a stray.
**I will be neutered before I can go home with you. I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person! I have been diagnosed with heartworm disease and will begin treatment soon - please speak with an adoption specialist for details.**
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
