My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Chow Mein, and I`m the most paw-some playful pup at the shelter. I just love to run around and play fetch all day long. My favorite game is soccer, and I can dribble a ball like a pro! I`m a super social girl who loves making new friends, both human and furry. Whether it`s playing chase with the other dogs or cuddling on the couch, I`m always up for some fun. I may be one of the shelter`s longest residents, but I promise I`m worth the wait. So if you`re looking for an energetic and affectionate companion, come meet me today. I can`t wait to be your new MVP (Most Valuable Pup)!
I am full grown at ~61lbs.
How did I get here? Transferred from Craven Pamlico Animal Services where I came in as a stray.

**I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**

~My adoption fee is $120.00.~
