Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Licorice was brought to the shelter on November 6, 2024. She was found in a shed in Caledon Village. She was a lone kitten that was all of 8 weeks old. She was placed with Captain Crunch on intake so that she would have a friend to play with while gaining weight to be spayed. Licorice will walk up and greet you as soon as you walk in the room. You will receive a long story about how her day was as she winds around your legs. This little girl is a true gem. She is gentle, sweet, loving and playful. She would make a great addition to any family unit. You just have to make a point of stopping by to see this beautiful girl. Her date of birth is July 18, 2024.

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.

You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
