If the Humane Society was a schoolyard, Bing would be one of the cool kids leaning on the fencepost in a leather jacket. He's a sweet boy who values independence and attention equally. Bing likes to take it easy by basking in the sunshine, and he definitely would not be the one to rat out the kids who didn't do their homework to the teacher. He likes to play, but in a cool way, of course. Bing will ask for head pats on his own time, and his love is very valuable. He has been around other cats here and enjoys their company, but would also be open to flyin' solo in a home. He's the kid that everyone yells "BACK UP" for when it's his turn to kick in gym class kickball. He's just *that* guy. More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
