Hi, my name is Fallon! As my name suggests, I am quite the superior gentleman, at least I think so! The lore, passed from generations, is that I'm from a long line of Rulers! These days, though, I have appointed myself as the sentry of my domain! The problem is my current domain is simply a temporary dwelling; I need my very own kingdom (or as you might say, my very own "barn"). If you're looking for a handsome protector who will work for food, look no further - satisfaction guaranteed with me! I'm a pretty independent guy, so while (once I'm comfortable) I may enjoy some pets from time to time, I won't bother anybody like some of those overly affectionate kitties do. You know the type...they're ALWAYS in the way, insisting on affection, weaving between your legs, and tripping you up. UGH, so unprofessional! All I'm looking for is a job and some yummy food. If it sounds like we could be good for one another, make an appointment and come on out!

More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
