My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sundae, an adorable eight-month-old pup with a black and white coat, possibly a Border Collie-Beagle mix. Weighing 38 pounds, she’s expected to grow into a medium-sized bundle of joy. Sundae is a smart girl who’s picking up crate training like a pro and has mastered potty training. Sundae is good with kids (as long as they respect her boundaries), enjoys the company of other dogs once she gets to know them (slow intros are key!), and is okay with cats—she just needs gentle introductions. She will thrive with a family that is dedicated to continuing her work on socialization and leash skills. While she has done very well in her foster home with other dogs, she gets overwhelmed when seeing and meeting other dogs on leash. Sundae is sweet, silly and playful and is ready to meet her forever family! Could it be you?!

More about this rescue

At Halfway There Rescue, we are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to making a difference for animals in North and South Carolina. Our mission focuses on reducing overcrowding in local open intake shelters while promoting the importance of spaying and neutering through community partnerships. We work tirelessly to provide compassionate care, foster opportunities, and life-saving interventions for pets in need. By engaging with the community, we aim to create a future where every animal has a safe, loving home. Together, we can reduce the burden on shelters and ensure a brighter future for all.
