My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a great dog full of personality. She is almost 2 years old and a medium-sized (about 36 pounds) black lab mix with beautiful chocolate highlights on her back! She's shy when you first meet her, but as soon as she feels she's safe, she wants to play. This usually takes all of 5 minutes.

When she tires out, she's happy to lay next to you and put her head in your lap. She likes her crate and goes right in. Chew toys are her absolute favorite! Stuffies don't stand a chance.

In her foster's home she is desperately trying to get the older dogs to play with her. She's very good at playing the annoying little sister and will test boundaries with other dogs, always hold her own.

Pepper is learning to walk on a leash and gets better every time as she is a very quick learner. Still working on learning her name and some commands, but you can tell she is trying and eager to learn.

Basically, she wants attention, some play time and a lot of love- and is ready to return it tenfold!
