My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Otto!

Otto is a lovable 4-5 month old Lab/Hound mix weighing in at 30 lbs of pure love & sweetness. Otto is a laid-back guy, happy to lounge on a comfy dog bed in a sunny spot with a toy.

This charming guy is great with other dogs, sleeps soundly in his crate all night, and is already housebroken. Otto is always excited to see his foster parents and is always ready to be showered with pets and kisses.

If you're looking for a friendly, well-mannered puppy who will bring joy and cuddles to your home, Otto is your guy!

More about this rescue

At Halfway There Rescue, we are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to making a difference for animals in North and South Carolina. Our mission focuses on reducing overcrowding in local open intake shelters while promoting the importance of spaying and neutering through community partnerships. We work tirelessly to provide compassionate care, foster opportunities, and life-saving interventions for pets in need. By engaging with the community, we aim to create a future where every animal has a safe, loving home. Together, we can reduce the burden on shelters and ensure a brighter future for all.
