Looking for a laid-back, loving furry friend? Meet Maya! This charming girl is all about affection and cuddles. She’s calm, house-trained, and doesn’t have any separation anxiety. Maya is great on a leash and in the car, plus she’s a petite size!
Maya gets along with other dogs and loves to play once she gets to know them. She can be a little timid on busy streets, so a suburban home would be ideal for her. She’s smart, very food-motivated, and incredibly loyal—she’ll want to stay by your side as much as possible.
Maya was found in Batumi, Georgia, and was taken in for sterilization with plans to release her back. But she was so sweet and loving that no one could let her return to the streets. Maya has a slight limp because her right back leg was broken a long time ago and healed on its own. It doesn’t bother her at all—she runs, jumps, and plays with no issues.
If you’re looking for a sweet, easy-going companion with great house manners, Maya might be your perfect match. Fill out an adoption application today!

Note: Sochi Dogs Rescue works on a foster to adopt model. All of our adopters have a 1-week trial period to decide if the dog is the right match for you. Should you decide the adoption is not working out, you can notify us within the first week and we will coordinate a time to take the dog back into a foster home and issue a refund of the adoption fee minus $75.
