Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Pooh and Gummy are a 12 year-old sister duo in need of a hospice foster (or adoptive) home. If you can’t foster/adopt, please help by sharing their post! As kittens, the girls were saved from being dumped at a kill shelter, and they’d spent their entire lives in the same home since then, until their guardian suddenly passed. We would love to find them a quiet and loving home, where they could spend their golden years!
Pooh and Gummy are very sweet and affectionate. They will follow you around and climb in laps. Sometimes they also like to express affection by licking aka giving baths. Though they are elderly, they still sometimes like to play. Springs are of Pooh’s favorite toys, and sometimes, when she catches one, she’ll walk around with the spring in her mouth, meowing to let you know she caught it.
Note that Pooh and Gummy have struggled with some chronic health issues, and they will need some ongoing medication/veterinary care. Their vet clinic is located in Reynoldsburg (Animal Care Hospital), and if you choose to serve as a hospice foster, Forgotten 4-Paws will cover the cost of the medication/vet care for the duration of their lives via this clinic. Currently, Gummy gets an injection every 3 weeks, and Pooh takes medication daily. Since she’s not a fan of pill pockets, her foster/adopter will need to administer the medication orally.
If you’re located in the Columbus area and you’re interested in fostering or adopting Pooh and Gummy, submit an application via our website. Since they are not accustomed to living with dogs or children, a home without either will be best. Email us with any questions - contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com.

Since we have no physical shelter, our cats and kittens live in our small network of foster homes. We utilize newsletters, social media, and websites such as Adopt-a-Pet to advertise the available cats/kittens. We also sometimes bring foster kittens/cats to the Easton PetSmart on weekends to meet potential adopters. If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please submit an application online, and then email us to inquire about how to meet the cat.
