Oh FLYNN! We love this guy so much. Flynn is a big dog, very tall, and 70+ lbs and he knows it! He is goofy(yet smart) and is very energetic, loyal and strong. He is a leaner, loves to lean in for pets. He is protective of his people, very attentive.
Flynn will do best in a home with kids over 14. Smaller kids just scare him.
He loves to fetch, play ball or chase a stick for as long as you will let him. He loves digging in his sandbox and hiding balls, then finding them again.
He is dog selective, would likely do better with a female dog. He doesn't like his feet to be touched, so that is something to consider.
He loves his people and would love a family that loved him as much as he loves them. He would love a human to cuddle. He is a puppy <2yrs and acts like one. He is still learning what it is to dog. He needs room to run, or an active lifestyle.
Flynn does have a little stranger danger with men. We don't know his history with them, but he does love the ladies.
Flynn highly trainable-knows sit, down, shake and working on leave it. Also working on jumping over small hurdles. 💥 He wants to learn. He has great recall.
Flynn would love an active family that may like to get him out hiking, camping, exploring! He will require a fenced yard and home check.
Flynn originally came to the local shelter here as a stray in April 2024. He has been patiently waiting for the exact right family to find him. Could it be you?
