My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willoughby is an 11 year old, 10 lb Chihuahua mix, and we think he may be part Miniature Pinscher. This senior fellow was living a perfectly happy life until his beloved person became ill and could no longer care for him. Humane Tomorrow promised that we would find another great home for him. Foster mom calls him Willy for short, and she says that he is a little cuddle bug. He would love nothing more than to lay in your lap and get lots of petting. He also likes to chew on his little toy, but that's about the extent of his playing. Willy has been through a big change in his life, so he is a little shy at first and may take a little time to warm up and trust. Once he does, he just wants love. He is housetrained and well behaved. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
