Meet Sheldon, the sweet and shy 9-week-old male Lab mix puppy from the Big Bang Theory litter! With his adorable spots on his nose and those soulful eyes, Sheldon is sure to melt your heart.

Sheldon loves to explore the outdoors and is always up for a good adventure, though he’s a bit more cautious at first. He’s been doing great with potty training and is eager to learn and please. In his foster home, Sheldon has been around small children and a large foster sibling, and he loves to follow his big dog buddy around the yard.

When he’s not out exploring, Sheldon is a big fan of snuggling and playing with toys. He’s curious and loves discovering new things, but when he’s had enough of the fun, he’s happy to curl up and relax for a cozy nap.

If you’re looking for a playful and sweet pup who will warm your heart with his shy charm and adorable spots, Sheldon is ready to meet you! He’ll make a wonderful companion for a loving family willing to help him gain confidence and enjoy all the joys of puppyhood.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
