Ceci's adoption fee is intentionally set at a higher rate to help offset the veterinary costs associated with other dogs in the rescue that require extensive medical care, as well as to support lower adoption fees for those animals. Additionally, she will come with registration papers confirming her breed.

 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!

Our large volunteer base works tirelessly to help dogs in need by removing them from what are quite often hopeless situations, making every effort to do whatever it takes to insure the best outcome in order to offer each and every dog the highest chance at finding a forever home.
