Meet Macho, a sweet and gentle dog who was transferred from LA due to the recent fires. Macho is still adjusting to his new surroundings and is looking for an understanding owner who can take things slow and help him build confidence at his own pace. After facing a difficult time, he's ready for a calm, loving environment where he can slowly regain his trust in the world. Macho walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys his time outdoors, but he'll thrive best with someone patient who can offer him the time and space he needs to blossom. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
