Hey, I’m Norman, an 8-week-old cattle dog with a zest for life and a love for people. I’ve been raised around farm animals, so I’ve got the smarts and instincts of a working dog, but I’m just as happy being the center of attention in a cozy home. I’m incredibly social and love making new friends—whether they’ve got two legs or four.

Guess what? I’m already fully potty trained (yep, I’m that impressive), and I’ve had all my vaccinations except rabies because I’m still a bit too young.

Whether you’re looking for a companion for adventures or a snuggle buddy at home, I’m your guy.

I’m located in Southern California, but for the right home, I’m willing to make the journey to Naperville IL for pick up. There’s only one of me, so you better move fast—I won’t be available for long!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
