My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Millie, an 8-week-old cattle dog with a big heart and even bigger ears! Don’t let my petite size fool you—I’ve got plenty of energy and charm packed into this little body. I’ve grown up around farm animals, so I’m naturally good at staying calm and collected, but you don’t need a farm to make me happy. All I need is a loving home where I can be part of the family.

Here’s what makes me special:

I’m fully potty trained (no accidents here!), super social, and ready to be your sidekick wherever life takes you.

I’ve had all my vaccinations except rabies because, well, I’m just a bit too young for that.

Whether you’re in Southern California or a little further away (we can bring for pick up in Naperville for the right adopter), I’m ready to pack my bags and come meet you. But don’t wait too long—puppies like me are hard to come by, and I’d hate for you to miss out on all the fun we could have together!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
