Meet Nibbles! This sweet boy has been through a lot, but he’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and stability. Nibbles was sadly abandoned when his previous owner moved out of their apartment, leaving him behind. Thankfully, the property manager stepped in and cared for Nibbles while waiting to see if his owner would return—but they never did. Now, Nibbles is with us, and we’re determined to find him the forever home he deserves, where he’ll never feel forgotten again.
At around 6 years old, Nibbles is a cuddly, affectionate dog who thrives on attention. He’s more of a couch potato than an athlete, but he’s currently on a weight loss journey to ensure he stays happy and healthy. His future family will need to help him continue this progress with regular walks and a balanced diet.
Nibbles has a unique feature on one of his ears—a thickened, puffy appearance caused by a long-untreated ear infection that resulted in a hematoma. While the ear will always look this way, the infection has been treated, and he’s not in any pain. Staying on top of his ear health will be important, but otherwise, Nibbles is in good spirits and ready to snuggle his way into your heart!
He’s very friendly, loves meeting new people and dogs, and would be delighted to have a home where he can soak up attention, enjoy some cozy couch time, and make lasting memories with his new family. If Nibbles sounds like your perfect match, please inquire today!

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
