My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy! An adorable little whippet with the goofiest personality around. She is part of a bonded pair with her littermate Henry, and will need to be homed with him. Roxy does good with dogs and loves to play and run. she adores playing with stuffed toys and has so much fun zooming around with them. She also enjoys her daily walks and has good leash manners. Henry and Roxy are both quite shy around new people and busy environments. But Roxy is the more confident of the two and warms up quickly to new things. She is extremely affectionate and loves to get pets and follow her favorite people around everywhere. Overall she is a fantastic little dog and would do best in a quiet and patient household.

* Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Roxy or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt-a-greyhound.

More about this rescue

Fast Friends is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating the public about Greyhounds and sighthounds from around the world with the primary goal of finding responsible, loving homes for them. Fast Friends envisions a world where no Greyhound or sighthound lacks for a loving home and these breeds are valued and celebrated for their uniqueness.

Fast Friends works closely with both international and domestic partners to bring retired racing Greyhounds and other sighthounds in need from countries where they have almost no chance of a local adoption to its facility in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Each dog receives high quality care with a focus on one-on-one staff time and individualized plans to help them overcome any neglect or trauma they have experienced so that they can be successful in a home. We are dedicated to taking in dogs with the most challenging circumstances.
