Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Howdy from Texas. We are Jinx and Joni, brother and sister Terrier mixes about 2 years old and we are looking for forever homes somewhere on the East Coast. We were stray dogs roaming a neighborhood in Houston, hoping to find food when a nice lady brought us inside and contacted 4 Little Paws Rescue. These days we are much better off, living in a foster home near San Antonio, fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, healthy, happy, and ready to meet our new families… whoever you are.
I’m Jinx, I’m a boy, I weigh 37.2 lbs and I am a little more outgoing than my sister Joni. My foster mom says we are both sweethearts, a bit shy-submissive at first, but friendly with everyone dogs and humans, young or old, big or small, and we both have very nice personalities. We never bark, we love playtime and dog toys, pets, and tummy rubs. We understand dog social cues and will walk away when one of our housemates growls and guards his food. We listen and take direction well, we love going for walks, and we are always happy to take a ride in the car. We are about 80% housebroken, walk well on a leash, don't mind a crate, and love to snuggle beside you or sometimes on you while we catch our favorite flicks on TV. Both of us are just really nice dogs, easy to live with, easy to love, and would fit in nicely with any family situation. Inquire about 1 of us or both of us today!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
