My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bubba, a young, friendly, playful, and energetic dog. His days are filled with bounding around his enclosure, chasing after toys with a joyous abandon that is contagious to anyone who watches. His playful nature is not just reserved for toys, though. He loves to interact with people, his tail wagging energetically as he greets everyone he meets. Despite his youthful energy, Bubba also has a calm side. He enjoys a good belly rub and the simple pleasure of a friendly pat on the head. Bubba`s energetic and friendly nature would make him a wonderful addition to any family. His playful personality and love for people would bring joy and laughter to any home. Adopt Bubba and fill your life with his boundless energy and love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
