My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vince, a charming adult dog with a heart full of sweetness. His shy demeanor might fool you at first, but once he warms up, his playful spirit shines through. Vince is a quick learner, always eager to please and impress with his intelligence. He`s mastered a variety of commands and tricks, proving that you can indeed teach an old dog new tricks. Despite his playful side, Vince is also a gentle soul, always ready for a quiet cuddle or a leisurely stroll. He has a unique way of making every day brighter with his sweet, shy, playful, and smart personality. Adopting Vince isn`t just about giving a dog a home, it`s about welcoming a new family member who will bring joy, love, and a playful spirit into your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
