My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet and playful boy is Merlin a ten-month American Foxhound mix, who weighs around 35 pounds. He loves playing with other dogs, snuggling in a soft dog bed and is a happy boy.

Merlin came in with his sister, Morgana, who is has been adopted, and he is a fun-loving young boy looking for a new family that will continue to help him grow into a great hound boy and play with him. As you can see he does great with other dogs, but cats are unknown. He is good with children, is house and crate trained.  Merlin is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Merlin, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
