My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Faron, the newest member of the tripod community. Faron, an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, is 5 ½ years old. He currently weighs around 50 pounds, but is still gaining weight and should weigh around 60 pounds.

We are not sure why Faron was found on his own, as he is a great dog. He gets along with other dogs and is crate and house trained. Plus we know he is wonderful with kids, as we were able to verify, he grew up with them.

We are not for sure how long Faron was on his own, but during that time we know he was injured and sadly had to have one of back legs removed. However, Faron has not let the loss of his leg hold him back, as he loves to get out and when he sees a leash he gets all excited, but needs help with pulling

If you are interested in adopting Faron, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
