Hi there! I’m Dillard, a playful and spontaneous little guy with a soft black and white coat adorned with special markings that make me uniquely handsome. I absolutely love giving kisses and will happily shower you with affection. At night, I’m a champ at sleeping through until morning, ensuring we both get our beauty rest.

I’m still mastering the art of pottying outside, so I’ll need someone patient to help me continue learning. But don’t worry, I’m making great progress! I’m up to date on all my shots and have been microchipped for safety. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making me a perfect addition to a loving family.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
