Sarge is an ~10 year old dog currently located in Rochester, NY. His owner for the last 4 years left the country and left the pets behind,

Before that his past is unknown, as he was adopted from a shelter in 2020. Sarge is cat safe, and dog neutral, but a meet and greet would be required. He has no aggression, no reactivity, and no separation anxiety. While I have never seen him around children I think with respectful kids he would be great. He loves walks but is not very good on leash (strong puller and big sniffer!) He has very little obedience trianing (knows sit on a good day.) His days are best spent looking out windows and napping on the couch. He is housebroken and good in a crate. Non destructive and can be left loose when unattended. He has a bent front leg from an old injury prior to adoption that healed incorrectly (suspected neglect.)

I do not currently have access to his vet records, however I know he went to the vet over the summer. I am trying to get the records now. He is neutered.

This dog is up for adoption due to NO fault of his own. He can be transported up to 6 hours from Rochester for the right home.
