My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Drax!

I’m a super friendly one-year-old guy, and I weigh in at about 40 lbs. I’m what you might call a “people dog” – I get along with everyone and everything. Whether it's other dogs, cats, or kids, I’m always eager to make new friends and share some good vibes.

I’m pretty well-mannered, especially on a leash – I’m leash trained, so walks are fun and easy for both of us. Whether you’re looking for a companion for outdoor adventures or someone to snuggle with on the couch, I’ve got you covered!

From his foster mom: Drax is a total goofball! He loves to play but also can chill and cuddle. Very affectionate and loving to his human. Starting to learn commands and very food motivated. Great with other dogs!

I’m young, playful, and full of love, so if you’re looking for a dog who’s happy-go-lucky and well-behaved, I’m your guy!

We hold adoption events every weekend in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area and also schedule private meet and greets once a potential adopter/foster has applied for a specific dog or cat.
