My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Harold!

I’m a fun-loving, 2-year-old pointer mix and am 35-40 lbs. of pure joy. I’m friendly with all dogs, so I love meeting new pals to play with. When I’m on a leash, I’m a total pro—walking is always a fun time. And don’t even get me started on car rides—just say the word car, and I’m in! Whether we’re heading to the park or just out for a drive, I’m happy to go wherever the adventure takes us. I love to give hugs and I might be a bit big, but I can still be a lapdog!.

But, what I really, really love? Kids! I’m crazy about them. If you’ve got a yard, you’re in luck—I’d thrive running and playing with kids all day long. I’m the perfect mix of playful and well-behaved, so I’ll keep you on your toes while also being the best buddy to your little ones.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s active, fun, and gets along with everyone, then I think we’re going to be the best of friends!

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every weekend in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area and also schedule private meet and greets once a potential adopter/foster has applied for a specific dog or cat.
