My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Jean! I was rescued with my three brothers Kurt, Scott, and Hank. We are miracle kitties, we tested positive for Panleukopenia when were at the OC Animal Care Shelter. They treated us and we all survived! However, we had intestinal parasites and diarrhea, so we were put on the euthanasia list. Luckily we were able to get into the care of Smittens and now we are perfect, super loving, purry, and playful little kittens! I love wrestling and cuddling with my brothers, chasing ping pong balls, and feather toys! I also get along with other cats. I can’t wait to find my forever home, hopefully with one of my siblings!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
