"Dogs leave pawprints on our hearts” This reminds us of our dear Faye.

Gentle, tenderhearted Faye is five years old and weighs 49 pounds.

Faye was shy when she first arrived at the shelter, and it has been such a joy to see her blossom with the care and attention of our staff and volunteers who are totally devoted to her. One of our volunteers says Faye is very sweet and chill.

Faye looks forward to daily walks and is a well mannered companion. She also loves to run and play in the fenced yard.

We love sitting with Faye to pet and encourage her, and she is so affectionate and grateful for your company.

Faye is very bright and knows the sit, down and roll over commands. Faye will offer you either of her paws to shake and will also give you a fist bump!

Our unique and beautiful Faye will be such a devoted companion!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
