Rowen is a fun-loving and playful pooch who is looking for a new best friend. Rowen is a teddy bear in dog form, he could not be any sweeter if he tried! Rowen is very friendly and loves love LOVES to give kisses. Rowen is fantastic with all other dogs and would be fine in a home with kids of all ages. This boy would be a fit for any home! While he is not super wild on his own, he will be active and playful when the time is right. He will also cuddle up with you and snuggle all night if that's what you would prefer to do. Percy Almond Johnson is his current doggie BFF and they love playtime together. Unfortunately, Rowen did not have a great start to live and has been thought to be running the streets as a stray for some time. It took quite a while before he and the other dog he was running with to be caught. Rowan was luckily rescued by a very kind lady who also tried to save his friend. Unfortunately, Rowen's friend was euthanized by the shelter before he could be saved too. :( We would love to give this boy the best home he finally deserves, where he knows he will forever be safe and loved in!

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
