Pink and Kevin are 5-month-old kittens with just the right mix of mischief, joy, curiosity, and love to brighten their forever home! These sweet, bonded brothers share every adventure, nap, and cuddle session. When they’re not snuggled up together—or on your lap—they’re busy entertaining everyone with their playful antics.
These fluffballs adore soccer (with anything that rolls), climbing to the highest spots they can find, and crafting masterpieces with paper bags. When playtime winds down, they’re all about cozy snuggles, falling fast asleep in your arms like the lovebugs they are.
Pink and Kevin are full of energy but know how to balance it with quiet moments of affection. They’ll thrive in a home with plenty of climbing structures for their love of heights, and they’ll always be close by to greet you at the door or follow you wherever you go. These velcro kittens are happiest when they’re part of your everyday routine.
Currently, Pink and Kevin live several foster feline sisters. They’re wonderful with other cats and would love to join a home with feline companions—or be the star duo! While they haven’t met any dogs yet, they prefer homes without children, as they need a calm and patient environment to thrive.
Pink and Kevin have not been declawed while in our care, and are overall healthy with no concerns.

Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits

Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
