My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Matilda, a spunky little Dachshund mix ready to show you her magic! Matilda is brilliant and curious, and while she may not have telekinetic powers, she has mastered her own set of tricks, like ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, ‘shake’, and even ‘drop it’ on command! She is as smart as she is adorable!

Matilda has had a long journey and she’s ready to find a family who appreciates her playful spirit and cuddly side. Could that be you? We’re happy to hand over her adoption papers!

Let’s give this smart, sweet girl the fresh start she deserves– Apply to adopt Matilda today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
