Meet PAULIE

Every once in a while, a special soul comes along who reminds us what pure love looks like.
That's our Paulie! Found abandoned in a hunting reserve, this sweet boy has transformed from a scared pup into 45 pounds of joy and affection!

At just 11 months old, Paulie has already proven he's got enough love for everyone. He adores children, gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, and dreams of nothing more than cuddling up with his future family. Though his gentle, submissive nature means he'd do best in a home without dominant dogs, his heart is always ready to make new friends.

This precious boy is fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all preventative care (including heartworm and Bravecto). He's healed completely from his rough start and is ready to fill your home with endless love and cuddles!

New York State Retriever Rescue, Inc (NYSRR) is a not for profit 501c(3) organization comprised of a network of volunteers. These devoted individuals are dedicated to locating homes for retrievers in need that represent the kind nature and spirit commonly associated with Labrador and Golden Retrievers: affability, gentleness and a peaceful, loving temperament. The organization also offers services to those who are unable to care for their dog. Our mission is to provide veterinary care for any and all dogs prior to being placed in loving homes.
