My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stryker!

This beautiful girl is an Australian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix born 07/01/2019. She has the shorter stature of an aussie, but this girl weighs in at a hefty 60lbs (she is working on shedding a few). When we met Stryker, she had been seized from her owner by Animal Control due to her condition. This bright girl had an electric fence collar on so tightly it had imbedded itself in her neck, leaving a grisly wound. We quickly got her medical attention, and she healed up so well now you can hardly find a scar! In spite of her origins, Stryker has been bubbly, happy, and loving from the start. She is incredibly outgoing and loves to go on walks with all of our volunteers! She has been groomed several times in our care and our groomer says she does well for her spa days! Since she does have that fluffy coat of a Pyrenees, she will need consistent brushing, and maybe to make good friends with a local groomer! Stryker came from a home with other dogs and a group of cats, and this girl also adores kids! She loves the company of all of the above, but of course if you already have any other dogs a meet and greet is required.

Stryker is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175
