My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable Alan is in search of his forever home! At 55lbs and just under 2 years old, this sweet and goofy kid would make a great addition to a home with another dog or as an only dog! Alan is fast friends with both dogs and people, an affectionate and playful guy who tires quickly and loves to unwind with a nap in his bed or crate. Alan is potty trained and is working daily on relaxed and focused leash training. He is very treat-motivated and can’t wait to flop over onto his back for a nice belly rub from the lucky person that gets to take him home forever.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
