Shila has shown some nervousness and defensiveness in a play group setting with other dogs. For Shila's safety and well-being, we recommend she go to a home without another resident dog. With the right environment and understanding, we believe Shila has the potential to continue making tremendous progress with her confidence.

The Wake County Animal Center is an open-admission animal shelter operated by Wake County. We receive all stray, abandoned & surrendered pets in Wake County. We work in partnership with fosters, volunteers and local rescues, to treat and rehome thousands of homeless animals every year.
