Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Jude, a young mostly black cat, is the kitty you’ve been searching for! Jude is the perfect combination of affectionate and independent, and you’ll instantly fall for his sweet face and lovable personality. If you are looking to adopt and find the love of your life we recommend adopting Jude, we promise you that you won`t regret it.
*Jude has tested positive for FIV, which means he has a suppressed immune system. FIV is not a death sentence and FIV cats can (and do!) live completely normal lives. To learn more about FIV, contact your veterinarian or contact HSEC for more info!

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
