My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Super sweet, asks for 'uppies', really soft fur, pretty green eyes....what more could you want? Allie was born November of 2022. Her life didn't start out so great but we are here to make sure that she has the best future this pretty girl could ask for! As a tiny kitten Allie wasn't thriving. A rescue worked hard to save her but the family she ended up going to let her down. Allie was found locked in a closet and very scared when she came to us. She is well adjusted and happy now. She would do well with other fun loving, easy going cats or as a solo cat. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
